A local newspaper ran a competition asking for a poem with the most romantic first line, but the least romantic second line. Here are some of the entries they received:

I am so disappointed with the standards of the comments around here. What is this, there are like only 9 words in total from two comments... we need some quality control over the comments here man..... i expect more from a boyfriend and a crappy fren...LOL
look at me, my comments are always more than twenty words long, if the entry is too boring (I understand, sometimes mary is a little boring too), it cant be helped... we just need to tolerate her monotonous sense of humour... hehe as if... blog is tough to write and mary is probably lazy, william left his blog half done too, come on! william! i am reading yours too
I feel like a loser, reading the blogs of the two lovebirds. But I feel proud of seeing the two lovebirds together, u both met on the karaoke session on my birthday on a weird twist of event. I was only expecting jay chou fans and more non jay chou fans turned up instead. haha but both of u are die hard fans of jay chou, yeah yeah, u both are!!!
cant wait to see u both together again, dun mind me for being nosy, i feel happier for others as I do for myself, there is no me...
