Was picked up at 8:15am and did some reject analysis with the Chief Radiographer in the doctor's office haha. xD Also participated in Infection Control (cleaning rooms after use) and some Quality Control which involved putting cleaners through the processor in Screening (apparently the films have been coming out brownish-grey -not that I can tell the difference). So hopefully I can use two of these activities for my SCIA! Yay!=D
I took a great bilateral hip shot [muhaha] and observed some scoliosis projections which looked quite tricky. Oh and I also did a whole lot of HSA CXRs. I think I'm getting the hang of it. Heh.
During my lunch break I went to the library to print off my competency sheets which I had forgotten to bring with me >.< Also picked up the bus timetable so I can get to clinical myself if for some reason I am unable to get a lift.
Slept at 1:30am. xD

oh hello. short post for day 3. ahahaha as i was reading i was like infection control WHOA sounds like youre detoxifying a room which was previously filled with anthrax but then it was just cleaning a room up =P.

Darn you!!! Doing your SICAs so quickly… I am so envious of u…. I was planning to crap something out…. But it is alright, I am doing stocktaking tmr… but the nurse just wants me for manual labour… I am sure. Oh well, it will be good to do something without that much brain effort, it hurts to think of what to do and how to do and the order of doing projections… too many moving parts, I am lost at moving the x ray tube, or the cassette, or the patient or the table… and I fidget here and there doing absolutely nothing productive and losing my patient’s confidence in me. I also tend to talk a lot… big talk no action…
How do u sleep at 130am and wake up with sufficient sleep? I sleep at 11 and wake up at 0620 groggy with hangover-like sleep deficiency… I miss sleep so much…
Anyway, I am getting used to a life of clinical attachments, it is not as bad as it seems, with friends that will help u through your projections…working is fun! But I miss uni, I want will to crash my lectures!!!!
